GPS Timing Receiver (up to 16 Outputs)

The GPS Timing Receiver is a 19-inch rack-mount GNSS timing distribution system offering up to 16 outputs, splittable into two parallel 8-output groups for full redundancy.

  • Product Summary
  • Product Details
  • The GPS Timing Receiver is a 19-inch rack-mount timing distribution system providing up to 16 RF outputs, with full GNSS support covering L1-L5 frequencies (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, plus BeiDou and IRNSS). Outputs can be split into two equivalent 8-output groups for full redundancy, and unused 50 Ohm outputs auto-terminate. It uses OZ20x-based modules powered over USB-C at 6.5 VDC, together with a dual-entry universal AC/DC power supply, and its patented antenna load propagation feature (US 10,257,739) enables fiber and/or receiver redundancy.

    • Number of outputs: up to 16; split into 2 x 8 equivalent groups for full redundancy
    • Supported systems: GPS, GLONASS, Galileo (L1-L5), plus BeiDou and IRNSS
    • RF transport band: 30-3,000 MHz standard (optional 1 MHz - 6 GHz)
    • RF connector: 50 Ohm SMA; unused outputs auto-terminate
    • Optical connector: SC/APC fiber pigtail (standard)
    • Power/control: industry-standard USB-C connector
    • Fiber: 9/125 um single-mode standard; multimode option under certain conditions; WDM option for single fiber from dual antennas
    • Power: OZ20x modules powered from 6.5 VDC; dual-entry universal AC/DC power supply
    • Patented antenna load propagation feature (US 10,257,739); automatic fiber and/or receiver redundancy switchover
    • Manual (MGC) and automatic (AGC) gain control
    • Local LED and dry-contact alarms; optional remote SNMP alarm reporting
    • Up to 64 transmitter/receiver modules fit into a single 19" 3RU J3U chassis
    • Fiber cabling allows indoor equipment to be located several km from line-of-sight outdoor antennas

Applications: wireless infrastructure synchronization, data network timing, public utilities, large buildings, underground facilities/mines/tunnels, maritime, oil and gas platforms, secure government facilities, disaster recovery, point-to-point or distributed GPS for C-RAN hubs and base station hotels.
