The J Plug-in Modules are a family of hot-swappable modules for the J-Chassis, spanning the J400/J500, J1/J84, GNSS/TTL/IRIG-B, J1600, JDM/JXM and J-OPS product lines.

  • The J Plug-in Modules family covers a wide range of RFoF functions for the J-Chassis: J400/J500 transmitter/receiver modules (30 MHz to 3 GHz, optionally 6 GHz, with integrated 20/40 dB LNA), high-density J1/J84 modules (up to nine J84 units per chassis), the cooled-laser J1600 (up to 9 GHz), JDM/JXM modulation modules reaching up to 60 GHz, and J-OPS optical switching modules (10 kHz to 50 GHz). The whole family is centrally managed via SSH CLI, an HTTP web interface, SNMP v2/v3 and the Managed RFoF GUI, alongside the JS14 managed Ethernet switch and N+1 redundant AC/DC power supplies.

    • J400/J500: 30 MHz - 3 GHz (optional 6 GHz); J500 has 30 dB AGC and digital inline attenuator; 1310/1550 nm/CWDM; uncooled DFB laser
