OZ J1

The OZ J1 is a hot-swappable RF-over-Fiber transmitter/receiver module operating in the standard 30 MHz to 3 GHz band, designed to plug into the J84 chassis.

  • Product Summary
  • Product Details
  • The OZ J1 is a small, hot-swappable RFoF module that integrates into 19-inch racks via the J84 carrier. It operates in the standard 30 MHz to 3 GHz band, optionally extendable up to 6 GHz or down to 1 MHz. Up to 4 J1 modules fit into a single J84 carrier, reaching a density of 36 modules in a 1RU chassis and 108 modules at the 3RU level; centralized monitoring is available via SSH, a web interface and SNMP v2/v3.

    • Frequency range: 30 MHz - 3 GHz (optionally up to 6 GHz, or extended down to 1 MHz)
    • RF interface: 50 Ohm SMA connectors
    • Optical connector: LC/APC
    • Dimensions: 32 x 13 x 115 mm, weight 60 grams
    • Operating temperature: 0C to +50C
    • Wavelengths: standard 1310/1550 nm, optional CWDM (1270-1610 nm)
    • Laser type: uncooled DFB (Class 1 emission, CDRH/IEC-825/EN 60825)
    • Receiver: high-performance InGaAs photodiode, automatic optical power control
    • Optional multimode fiber support
    • Optional integrated +20 dB transmitter LNA
    • Density: up to 4 modules per J84 carrier; 36 per 1RU chassis, 108 at 3RU
    • Hot-swappable design
    • Monitoring/control: SSH, web interface, OZC GUI, SNMP v2 and v3
