The OZ16xx is a cooled-DFB-laser RFoF transceiver module in a cast-metal housing, offering frequency options up to 10 GHz.
The OZ16xx is a standalone flange-mount RFoF module offering bandwidth options from a 30 MHz lower cutoff up to 3, 6, 8 or 10 GHz. Closed-loop optical power and laser diode temperature control deliver exceptionally high SFDR, up to 115 dB/Hz2/3. Operating from -40C to +65C (optionally +85C) and powered from +12 VDC (optionally 28V), it is monitored via a DB9 connector and an optional I2C interface; up to 5 units fit into a single 19-inch 1RU OZ9800 chassis.
Applications: MMDS, antenna remoting, GPS distribution, satellite ground stations, optical delay lines, L/C/X-band links.
