The OZ81x is an RFoF module in a dust-tight cast-metal housing, operating in the standard 30 MHz to 3 GHz band (optionally 10 kHz to 4 or 6 GHz). Measuring 78 x 128 x 32 mm and weighing about 315 grams, it accepts a wide +9V to +30V DC supply range. Manual receiver gain adjustment (30 dB range), an optional optical AGC feature (tracking up to 10 dB optical / 20 dB RF attenuation) and an I2C serial interface deliver high SFDR performance; up to 5 modules fit into a single OZ9800 chassis.
Applications: L-Band satcom, public safety, CBRS/C-Band, MMDS, antenna remoting, site diversity, in-building DAS, optical delay lines.
